Who are we?

The Sydney PC User Group is an independent club of users in Sydney Australia, learning about Personal Computer hardware and software and helping each other resolve PC problems.

Club rooms

We meet on the 1st Floor of the Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts Building, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney.
The Monthly Meeting is held on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 6 pm to 8 pm in the 1st Floor Auditorium and the Special Interest Groups meet in the Woolley Room.
The exception is the Penrith SIG, which meets at St. Clair High School, Endeavour Avenue St. Clair.

Facilities

The Auditorium has the usual sound and visual systems as well as ADSL internet access for use by the speaker.
For the SIG meetings, the Club has Windows XP running on a desktop computer, housed in a mobile cabinet. It also has a wall-projector and internet access from the SIG room. Guest speakers may of course connect their own laptops instead.

Lift access

Please note that the Pitt Street lift allows 1st Floor access 30 minutes only before the scheduled meeting times.
